E.C.Gardiner has worked for various organisations across continental Europe and has held a senior academic post in an English university. Under an adoptive name given in childhood has published and edited non-fiction books, as well as contributing essays and articles to books and journals. For his work in English in Education he was awarded a Founding Fellowship of the English Association. His poems have been widely published, his more recent stories and full-length fictions now attracting attention for their originality and masterful narration.
